The WPO-PRO is the only Elite/Pro level Powerlifting Organization that has one focus, World Class Multiply Powerlifting. THAT’S ALL WE DO!

The Format:

The WPO-PRO now consist of two divisions:  Men’s Division and Women’s Division.  This allows lifters across different weight classes to compete head to head, and creates a more intense and deeper field of competition.  Strategy in creating your highest coefficient is key to taking your place on the podium.

Invite Process:

Invitations for 2025 are based on the top 30 multi-ply Glossbrenner scores from 2024 on OpenPowerlifting. Top 3 men and women from the 2024 WPO-PRO will receive automatic invitations. New this year: the best overall male and female from 2025 APO Nationals will be granted a spot on the roster!

– Alternates may be chosen to fill vacancies outside this process due to the inability to attend or the need to elevate the roster’s competitive level.

Eligibility does not guarantee invitation. Competitors will be selected to create the highest level of competition available.

Scoring:

The WPO-PRO is scored using a coefficient score known as the Glossbrenner. The Glossbrenner is a sophisticated metric that rates a lifter’s performance relative to their bodyweight. This allows lifters across different weight classes to compete head to head, and creates a more intense and deeper field of competition.
